Learning about our teeth (with eggs)

We used regular eggs from the supermarket to illustrate what is done to our teeth when we:
1. drink lots of juice, soda, and coffee
2. don't brush our teeth (vinegar)
3. drink milk and water

The results shocked the children!

We used a toothbrush and lots of toothpaste to see if we can remove the stains.  Some if it came off but it was not as white as the milk egg.

The milk egg came out whiter and also seemed to come out heavier!  Our water egg kept it's white color.  The students noticed the vinegar egg has lost its shell.  It was was a yellow blob.  We learned that our teeth can turn yellow and fall off if we don't care for them.
